Web designer in Greece: what to check before you hire
Portfolio, process, file ownership, post-launch support: the five things that decide a collaboration.
Choosing a web designer is a two- or three-year decision: it will shape how the world sees you for a long time. Before you hire someone, five things are worth checking.
First, the portfolio: has the designer worked with businesses like yours? Look at the live pages, not just the images. Second, the process: do they tell you how they work, in what steps, what they need from you? A vague process means a vague result. Third, ownership: the domain, the files and the content must be yours, not the designer's.
Fourth, support: what happens after launch when you want a change or something breaks? Ask before, not after. Fifth, honesty: a good designer will also tell you what you do not need, not only what they can sell you.
At the studio I work in clear steps, with full ownership for the client and support after launch. If you want to see what the collaboration looks like in practice, browse the portfolio or send me a message.
