Corporate identity: what it should include

Aggelos Kourtidis1 min read

The minimum and the full contents of a corporate identity: logo, typography, colours, print, digital and usage rules.

When I talk about a corporate identity, I do not mean a nice PDF with the logo. I mean the whole set of rules that make your business recognisable in whatever the customer opens: a card, a menu, the website, a social profile, a package.

The minimum an identity should have: the logo in all its versions (colour, monochrome, for dark and light backgrounds), two typefaces with clear rules, the colour palette with codes, and the basic print material: business card, flyer, letterhead and envelope.

The full package adds: templates for Instagram and social, photography direction, storefront and wayfinding signage, product packaging, and the identity book with usage rules. That book is what stops the print shop, the contractor or the next partner from distorting your image.

Every identity I build at the studio is delivered with complete files and usage instructions, in Greek and English. If your own image needs order, send me what you already have and we start from there.
